Stone Soup
Have you heard the folk tale about making soup from a stone? The story's message is one about generosity and having empathy for those less fortunate. For our Thanksgiving activity, children each brought in a vegetable. If a child did not bring a vegetable, it was no problem because we divided up the vegetables and the work and made some hearty soup to share. Families were invited to have soup with us or send a take out container.

Welcome
Welcome to our Kindergarten Blog. This blog was created to celebrate the curious, creative and wondrous learners that I get the honor of spending my school days with at Webster Niblock Kindergarten. It is designed to demonstrate to families all the great things that happen after you say goodbye to your Kindergarten child and send them off to school each day. Please feel free to post comments and share your child's perception of the learning and discovery that is represented on the blog.
I get to spend my days with the best people around, children.
Thanks for checking in,
Miss Michelle

Who Am I
Who Am I?
The trees ask me,
And the sky,
And the sea asks me
Who am I?
The grass asks me,
And the sand,
And the rocks ask me
Who am I?
The wind tells me
At nightfall,
And the rain tells me
Someone small.
Someone small
Someone small
But a piece
of
it
all.
